Copyright is a legal agreement that allows any production company to have a patent on the products they produce. This prevents anyone outside the company to use the specific product without the permission from the company.
\This is the reason why me and my group members had to apply for copyright from the record label of leona lewis's song 'Glassheart'. In order to do that we had to carry out research to find out the record label of the song. We emailed them explaining the purposes of using their song and ensuring them that the song would only be used for coursework purposes.

We have emailed the record label couple of times and we are still awaiting a response. As soon as we receive a response from the copyright holder we will begin filming our music video.
