group digipack analysis

Before starting to design our Digipack me and my group members had a meeting where we discussed the image of our artists as it is important that are image and style is shown throughout the digipack. We made a list of different things that we want our artist to come through as. We all went of producing our own designs keeping in mind the artists image aswell as the codes and conventions of a pop igipack and what are the things a digipack has aswell as considering the choice of colour, theme, images and layout.

Rhian's Digipack

• Rhian's digipack used the same colours throughout the digipack which made it look very consistent.
• The images that she used very very conventional to the pop genre as they all came across very glamorous.
• Rhianns used 'Glassheart' throughout her digipack which was the song is based on.
• The colours that Rhian used were very 'girly' and conventional to the pop genre as one would expect ti see these colours on a pop digipack. For eg Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' digipack followed the same colour scheme.

Nadia's Digipack 

• Nadia used a variety of shots throughout her digipack. This showed the artist at different points of our music video.
• She also used alot of 'heart' in her digipack and that symbolized with the song 'glassheart' of our music video.
• She seems to use different colours and not using one colour scheme throughout and this doesn't make it consistent. She should use the same colours throughout her slides.

My Digipack

• This digipack was consistent with the colour scheme that it used throughout the digipack.This made the digipack seem very consistent. 
• This digipack was conventional to the pop genre as it used variety of shots of the artist that were very glamorous.
• However, this digipack didn't use the similar colours used in the music video as the colours used in the music video were red and pink.
  

Group Digipack

Reflection
We as a group decided to use Rhian's front cover as the image on the front cover the artist looks glamorous and proud. This is typical of pop female artists.We also decided to use Rhian's Back cover as the image background she used was similar to one's that were used in the music video which shows its very consistent. We decided to use my CD cover and picture 2. We then changed the colours to make it seem consistent with the other slides of the digipack. We used Nadia's picture 1 for the digipack as her picture had heart background which symbolised the song that we produced a music video for 'Glassheart'.
